Accomplish a personal goal
Because the time is now! That important, I- keep- putting- off- thing that you’ve been procrastinating about? Let’s get started today and change your life and possibly the lives of others.
Whether it’s health and fitness, family time, a change in career, planning that amazing get away or retreat, giving back to your local community or giving yourself some pampering spa or facial this is your time to shine.
There is no better way to celebrate than accomplishing a goal that you’ve had waiting in the wings forever. It doesn’t matter how big or small, starting is the key. Let your success be your gift to yourself this IWD.
Celebrate with women you admire
If you have a mentor (which is super important), this is the time to reach out to her. No matter if you’ve never met you will also get the added bonus of a great conversation with someone you look up to and she will be flattered by your praise.
Mentors can come in all shapes and sizes and most of us know that life in the world is a lot easier if you have a mentor on your side. A female mentor, specifically, can not only advise and guide you in career development areas but also personal development as well.
Spend time with your mum
This IWD, make the most of the time you have with the wonderful woman who bore you. Take her to her favorite restaurant, watch a movie with her, cook for her or if you are apart like my Mum and I arrange a live chat and catch up on her what’s happening in her world.

Donate To Your Local Women’s Shelter
One of the best ways you can help other women this IWD is to donate goods for women in need. This act will change someone’s life, however, donating items that are ‘most’ requested is an even greater gesture.
Here are some suggestions to help you help another sister : Bras, nail polish, art materials, diapers, books, feminine hygiene products, mobile phones, local transport passes, handbags and purses, cosmetics and skincare products or put your best foot forward and volunteer to help out.

Invest In Yourself
Spend a little time to yourself!
If it’s going to be you and a book, grab a book by a powerful kickass author such as “You are a Bada**” and inspire your way to greatness. If comfort food is more your thing try some amazing chocolate that also invests in backing some incredible women doing amazing work in the world of food. Maybe curling up on the sofa is more your favorite way to spend some alone time, if so how about a movie about amazing women.
